I should have created this video to go with the last article. This is how I laid out the eight pointed star on the blanket chest. Geometry is much more fun as an adult.

This is what took most of the time over the weekend. I did three coats of Real Milk Paint’s Plum. You can tell that the paint gets less blotchy from coat to coat, but as with my prior attempt using milk paint, it basically looks terrible till the very end…
